Buffalo Grove police trivia night fundraiser for Special Olympics Nov. 10

The Buffalo Grove Police Department will host its 3rd annual Trivia Night on Nov. 10, at the Arboretum Club, 401 W. Half Day Road in Buffalo Grove. Teams of eight will compete against during 10 rounds of questions asked by Buffalo Grove Police Chief Steven Casstevens, who also will emcee the event.

"The event is the highlight of our Special Olympics campaign; it is a great night out with lots of laughs and chances for prizes," Casstevens said.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. for check-in, with games and festivities beginning at 6 p.m.

The cost is $280 for a team of eight, and includes a buffet-style dinner. A cash bar will be available, as well as a silent auction and raffle prizes. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics of Illinois. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
