Palatine police boosters hosting golf fundraiser

Palatine Police Department supporters are holding an inaugural fundraising golf outing on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Sponsored by the Palatine Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, also known as the Palatine PD Boosters, the festive day will go from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Hilldale Golf Club in Hoffman Estates. Association members are Palatine residents and graduates of the citizens police academy.

The cost is $150 per golfer or $600 for a foursome, which covers 18 holes of golf, cart, driving range, clubhouse amenities, dinner and two drink tickets.

In addition, items from an on-course beverage cart and 10th tee outdoor grill will be available for purchase.

Money raised from the inaugural golf outing will go toward the nonprofit organization's goal of helping and supporting Palatine police and promoting community relations.

Those who don't golf can attend the dinner for $75, which features a raffle and awards presentation.
