Family Fun Day at Huntley farmers market

The theme of Saturday's farmers market in Huntley was Family Fun Day at the Market.

Besides the usual fare, there was a craft fair, free kids games, bicycle decorating, a mini bike parade around the square and the Banjo Buddies Dixieland Band performing.

Additionally, there was an ice cream social for Special Olympics, food, and horse-drawn rides.

The market runs 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays through Oct. 13 at the Huntley Town Square, 11704 Coral St.
