Driver hurt in Golf Road rollover crash in Schaumburg
A driver sustained minor injuries after his car was struck and rolled over Tuesday on Golf Road in Schaumburg, authorities said.
The man was in a Buick LaCrosse sedan headed east near National Parkway at 11:48 a.m. when he collided with a Ford Edge SUV pulling out of a parking lot, according to Schaumburg police Sgt. Christy Lindhurst. The impact caused the sedan to leave the road and strike a parked trailer.
The man was able to get out of his car on his own, but he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was later issued a citation, Lindhurst said.
