Texas man pleads guilty to Streamwood battery

A Texas man was ordered to attend parenting and anger management classes as a condition of his guilty plea to aggravated battery of a child.

Henry Cottrell, 39, was staying with a friend in Streamwood last year when authorities say he struck and pushed a boy.

Cottrell pleaded guilty Thursday in exchange for two years' probation and $649 in fines, court records show.
