Streamwood motorcyclist killed in collision

A Streamwood man was killed Wednesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at Schaumburg Road and Green Meadows Boulevard.

Jeffery Beuder, 62, of the 300 block of Audubon, died as a result of multiple injuries in the collision, according to an autopsy conducted by the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Streamwood police were called to the scene of the crash at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday. Paramedics took the severely injured Beuder to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, where he was pronounced dead at 4:12 p.m.

The preliminary investigation determined a 2012 Chevrolet Sonic was entering Schaumburg Road south from Green Meadows Boulevard when the collision with Beuder's 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle occurred.

The driver and sole occupant of the Chevrolet Sonic was not injured.

The crash investigation was ongoing Thursday and no determination of cause or fault has been made, Deputy Police Chief Daryl Syre said.
