None injured in Naperville house fire

A Naperville home is uninhabitable after firefighters put out a blaze that swept through the single-family residence Friday evening.

A 911 call reporting smoke and fire at the house on the 200 block of West Bailey Road was received at 7:57 p.m., and the first firefighter unit arrived at 8 p.m. Ultimately, 10 pieces of fire apparatus and 24 fire personnel were at the scene.

Firefighters said the fire was located in the rear exterior of the building and extended to the attic and roof.

No injuries were reported.

The Naperville Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Naperville Police Department, the Naperville Electric Department, the Naperville Water Department, Nicor Gas and the American Red Cross.

The Plainfield Fire Protection District, Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District, Bolingbrook Fire Department and Wheaton Fire Department provided coverage at Naperville fire stations.

The fire is under investigation.
