Rolling Meadows teen charged with sexually assaulting 15-year-old girl

A high school student has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

Kendrick McKissack, 18, of Rolling Meadows was arrested on criminal sexual assault charges Tuesday, the same day prosecutors say his accuser told her mother about the assault.

Prosecutors say McKissack met and exchanged phone numbers with the girl March 23. They met outside his apartment building the next day, said Cook County Assistant State's Attorney Jennifer Gates. McKissack told the girl he forgot something and asked her to go upstairs with him, Gates said.

According to Gates, McKissack attempted to undress the girl but she pushed away his hands. He then pushed her down onto a mattress, pinned her hands over her head and sexually assaulted her, Gates said. w

About a month later, complaining of stomach pains, the girl saw her doctor and learned she was pregnant, Gates said.

McKissack, who has no criminal background, was ordered held on a $50,000 individual recognizance bond, which means he does not have to post money to be released from custody. Cook County Judge Marc Martin further ordered McKissack have no contact with the girl.

McKissack next appears in court May 17.
