Spring Wine Walk returns to Barrington

The Village of Barrington and Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to bring back the Barrington Spring Wine Walk.

It's set from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 28, in downtown Barrington. Participants will get to shop, sip and stroll as they sample a wide variety of wines at 28 locations throughout the village.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased in advance online at barringtonchamber.com. All participants must check in at NeoTeca, 130 S. Hough Street, beginning at 2 p.m. to present their identification and receive an official wristband. They also will receive a souvenir wineglass and a map listing the 28 Wine Walk stops.

For more information, contact the chamber at (847) 381-2525. Attendees must be 21 or older to participate. One-ounce samples will be served and attendees will have a checklist for the wine.
