Schaumburg man pleads guilty to child porn possession
A Schaumburg man who prosecutors say had photographs of naked underage girls on a social media account pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, court records show. In exchange for his guilty plea, Caleb Trimble, 23, was sentenced on Thursday to 30 months of sex offender probation and ordered to pay fines and court costs totaling $11,144, prosecutors said.
Sex offender probation includes increased visits to the probation office, curfews, field visits by probation officers, drug testing and other restrictions. In addition, Trimble must register as a sex offender.
Trimble had no previous criminal background.
Schaumburg police began investigating him after they received a tip that his social media accounts showed photographs of girls without their clothes, prosecutors said.
