Barrington Hills concert to benefit foster-care kids
The Classic Arts Trio will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in the sanctuary of Barrington United Methodist Church, 98 Algonquin Road in Barrington Hills.
The trio consists of Walter Preucil of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra, William Koehler and Stephanie Preucil.
A freewill offering will be taken to benefit Let it Be Us, a nonprofit dedicated to the adoption and education of children within the Illinois foster care system so that the state's most vulnerable children have the opportunities and resources they need.
The concert will feature three works - Trio in C minor by Zachary Preucil, Trio in F# minor by Arno Babadjanian and Trio in D minor by Anton Arensky.
A light reception will follow.
