Lake Villa pancake breakfast
The Lake Villa Township Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday, March 25, at Lake Villa VFW Post #4308, 130 E. Grand Ave., Lake Villa. Tickets at the door are $7 per person. Kids under 6 are free. Advance tickets are $6 at Bill Stanley's American Family Insurance, 111 Cedar Ave., Lake Villa or the Twisted Cow, 2112 E. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst. The Lions Club collects used eye glasses, hearing aids, cellphones, old metal keys and aluminum soda can tabs, which can be dropped off at the breakfast.
