Des Plaines area teen and her son missing

Police are searching for a 17-year-old girl from the Des Plaines area - and her son - who left a note saying she was running away.

Katherine Lujano and her 18-month-old son, Eric Manriquez, were last seen around 4 p.m. Friday.

Katherine is described as Hispanic and around 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds, and with brown eyes and black hair. She has a nose piercing on her left nostril. Katherine was last seen wearing a gray Hollister hooded sweatshirt with white lettering and black leggings.

Eric is approximately 2 feet tall and weighs approximately 24 pounds.
