Four injured in Schaumburg crash

Four people were injured Sunday in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 in Schaumburg, officials said.

Fire crews extricated one person from the driver's side of a vehicle after arriving at the scene on westbound I-90, just east of Barrington Road, said Battalion Chief Rick Anderson of the Schaumburg Fire Department.

The patient and three other people, whose conditions are unknown, were taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.

All lanes were reopened by about 5:30 p.m. Additional information about the crash was not immediately available.
