Group to talk marijuana legalization

A community group called the Stand Strong Coalition will meet Thursday in Lincolnshire to discuss the drive to legalize marijuana in Illinois. Dr. Aaron Weiner, director of addiction services at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health in Naperville, will discuss how legalization has affected Colorado and Washington, and what it could mean to Illinois. The coalition's meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 1 Olde Half Day Road. It's open to the public. The coalition is dedicated to preventing underage drinking and drug use.
