Veterans honored at ceremony in Elgin

More than 100 people attended a ceremony Saturday morning at Veterans Memorial Park in Elgin to honor the sacrifices veterans have made for their country.

The solemn Veterans Day ceremony included speeches, a color guard, patriotic songs performed by the Elgin High School band and a rifle salute.
