Round Lake Beach rail crossing closed for repairs
Maintenance crews from the Wisconsin Central Ltd. Railroad worked on replacement rails Monday during railroad crossing work at Hook Drive near Route 83 in Round Lake Beach.
Work began Monday and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15, barring unforeseen problems and weather conditions. The construction requires that the crossing be shut down to vehicle traffic until then, Round Lake Beach Public Works Director Scott Hilts said.
