Police recovered drugs with a street value of about $18,000 at the Buffalo Grove home of two brothers, who faces multiple drug charges, including manufacture and delivery of marijuana.

Dustin Gutierrez, 18, and Martin Gutierrez, 22, were charged with the manufacture and delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Martin Gutierrez was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Dustin Gutierrez was held on $10,000 bail Wednesday. Martin Gutierrez, who has a DUI and a pending charge of misdemeanor battery, was ordered held on $20,000 bail and will be put on electronic home monitoring or house arrest if released.

Police officers, including the department's police dog, executed a search warrant on the home in the 400 block of Gregg Lane about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said. They recovered about 1,000 grams of marijuana and marijuana wax, 1 gram of cocaine, 12 pills believed to be Adderall - a prescription medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder - about $2,600 in cash and other items, according to Cook County assistant state's attorney Alyssa Grissom.

Officers obtained a search warrant after people reported hand-to-hand drug transactions and frequent vehicle traffic at the house, Buffalo Grove police said.

The Gutierrez brothers return to court Nov. 2.
