Army sponsors Schaumburg event for Asian STEM professionals

The U.S. Army will be a sponsor at the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) Conference taking place Thursday, Oct. 12, through Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg.

Throughout the conference, the Army will have a presence at several events including a panel discussing Asian-American women in STEM and the challenges they overcome to achieve success in their careers. There also will be an interactive workshop that aims to empower students to help them build confident leadership skills.

During SASE's career fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 14, conference attendees can stop by the Army's booth to talk one-on-one with soldiers and learn more about STEM education and career options. To learn more about Army careers in STEM, visit goarmy.com.
