Carnival, more draw crowds to South Elgin Riverfest Express
South Elgin's 21st annual Riverfest Express will wrap up Sunday with a popular car show and plenty of other events.
The event at Panton Mill Park included A Special Night For Special Kids on Wednesday, a carnival, Saturday night fireworks and a Craft and Small Business Expo. For model train fans, an intricate model train display, provided by Valley Model Railroad Club in South Elgin, is avaialable at the municipal annex.
On Sunday, the music starts at noon and continues all day. A full list of bands can be found at riverfestexpress.net.
