Two suffer minor injuries in Buffalo Grove house fire
Two residents suffered from smoke inhalation, but weren't hospitalized, after a small house fire Tuesday in Buffalo Grove.
Buffalo Grove firefighters responded to a kitchen fire in a home in the 400 block of Ferndale Court about 8:30 p.m., officials said.
When crews arrived, heavy smoke was filling the first floor of the home, and the kitchen was still on fire.
The two people were treated by the Arlington Heights Fire Department and released from the scene.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze in about five minutes, officials said.
The Long Grove Fire Protection District, Lincolnshire/Riverwoods Fire Protection District and the Palatine Fire Department also responded to the fire.
