Four people hurt in Bartlett fire Sunday

Four people - including one firefighter - received minor injuries from a fire in Bartlett Sunday night, authorities said.

The Bartlett Fire Protection District was called to the 1000 block of Bentley Lane at 7:48 p.m. for a fire in a two-story, multifamily home, authorities said.

Crews first to the scene said fire was showing in the rear of the home, and extending inside the residence, officials said.

Two individuals were treated at the scene for unknown injuries and released, officials said. The third was transported to the hospital with a minor injury, officials said.

The firefighter was transported to the hospital with a moderate injury, but is listed in good condition, officials said.

The fire was deemed under control within 30 minutes of arrival, authorities said.

The home was declared uninhabitable, officials said. Damage estimates were not release and the cause remains under investigation.

Fire departments from Carol Stream, South Elgin and Hanover Park assisted Bartlet firefighters with the blaze.
