Bartlett starts multiday National Night Out celebration

Bartlett kicked off its unique multiday National Night Out celebration with three activities Friday.

A Family Fun Night at the Jim Jensen Pavilion on Stearns Road was followed by a pool party at the Bartlett Aquatic Center.

Meanwhile, a Twilight Bash was also going on at the Bartlett Skate Park.

The fun continues through the weekend with block parties and a lighting competition Saturday, and the Putt & Drive Crime Out of Bartlett Golf Competition at the Bartlett Hills Golf Club Sunday afternoon.

Finally, from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, the community will host its 24th annual National Night Out Picnic in the Park at Bartlett Park.
