Free 'Breakfast with the Doctors' event Aug. 5 in Hoffman Estates

Amita Health is sponsoring a free "Breakfast with the Doctors" event on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Hoffman Estates Park District.

The event will feature informative discussions by Dr. Hasham Alvi, orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Anthony Auriemma, bariatric medicine expert.

The physicians will present information about advancements in joint replacement surgery and improving surgical outcomes through weight management strategies.

A buffet breakfast will be offered at 9:30 a.m., followed by the welcome and presentations from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Hoffman Estates Park District Triphahn Center, Room 113, 1685 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates.
