Missing man with autism found
A 21-year-old man with autism who was reported missing Tuesday morning has been found safe and reunited with his family in his home in an unincorporated area near Elmhurst.
Patrick Mulhern last had been seen around 2 a.m. at his home near the intersection of York Road and Diversey Avenue. DuPage County sheriff's deputies were preparing to hold a press briefing about the search for Mulhern when he was located a couple blocks south and east of his home.
"He seemed to be in very good condition," Undersheriff Frank Bibbiano told reporters. "There didn't seem to be any concern about his well-being."
