Celebration of Greek food, culture gets underway in Palatine

Greek Fest at St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church in Palatine opened Friday and will continue 3 p.m. to midnight Saturday and noon to 11 p.m. Sunday at 133 S. Roselle Road. Admission is $3, free for 12 and younger and 66 and older.

The festival features Greek foods, dancing, games for the kids, shopping at the Greek Marketplace and live music. More than 15,000 guests are expected to attend. For information, call (847) 358-5170 or visit stnectariosgoc.org.
