Schaumburg trolley resumes daily service

The village of Schaumburg's Woodfield Trolley is offering daily service again through Labor Day as a convenient way for the public to navigate Schaumburg's key destinations.

The village offered the service last summer and provided close to 10,000 rides.

Summer service hours for the trolley are every 30 minutes Monday through Friday, from noon to 9 p.m.; every 20 minutes on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and every 30 minutes on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Woodfield Trolley is free and provides service to nine stops, with front-door service to eight stops including Woodfield Mall, Streets of Woodfield, Woodfield Village Green, IKEA and the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center. Roosevelt University is a flag stop.

The trolley reverts back to its regular Friday through Sunday weekend service after Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.
