Missing Mount Prospect man found safe

A 90-year-old Mount Prospect man reported missing was found safe Wednesday evening in Chicago, officials say.

At the time Leonard J. Mosher Jr. was reported missing he had last been seen leaving his home in a blue Dodge Journey, according to a Facebook post by the police Wednesday. Mosher was on his way to an appointment in Maywood but never showed up, police said.

Chicago police found Mosher in good condition on the east side of the city, and he has since returned to his family in Mount Prospect, police said.
