Filmmakers hush-hush on movie to be shot at Barrington Flower Shop
Mum's the word on a film being shot in the Barrington Flower Shop over the next few days.
Owner Glen Egeland said a producer with hometown connections scouted the location and decided the store would be a good spot for scenes in an upcoming independent film. On Friday and Saturday, a film crew will take over the store at 201 S. Cook St.
"We won't know anything really until people show up Friday morning," Egeland said. "It's been relatively hush-hush."
While the store won't be able to take walk-in customers, Egeland says he'll take phone orders and make deliveries during the filming.
