Armed robbery in Waukegan

Waukegan police say a woman reported she was robbed at gunpoint early Friday in an apartment complex parking lot. The robbery happened at 5 a.m. in the 3000 block of Grandville. The victim told police she was approached by two suspects as she was getting into her car. One suspect had a gun and demanded property and money. Both suspects are described as male blacks, and were last seen fleeing the area on foot. The victim was not hurt. The Waukegan Police Department is not releasing the amount of money taken or the type of property taken during the robbery.
