Norris Cultural Arts Center presenting 13-day holiday festival online

The Norris Cultural Arts Center will present an online holiday festival featuring local performers and ensembles from Dec. 12 to 24.

Called "Norris Presents A Baker's Dozen Holiday Festival," it will feature performances recorded at the historic Baker Community Center in St. Charles.

Performers include Brett Dean's Shout Section Big Band (Dec. 13), the Fox Valley Concert Band's Brass Quintet (Dec. 17) and the Beth Fowler Dance Company (Dec. 20). Performances are uploaded at noon each day and can be viewed at the Norris website and its YouTube channel.

The festival's primary sponsor is Mike Corbett Edward Jones, the board president of the St. Charles History Museum. Additional sponsorship is courtesy of the Daily Herald and Kane County Chronicle.
