Billy Joel's band, Maddie & Tae, 7th heaven to play Schaumburg's Septemberfest

Members of Billy Joel's band, country music stars Maddie & Tae and local band 7th heaven will be the headlining acts at Schaumburg's 48th annual Septemberfest, over Labor Day weekend on the village's municipal grounds.

Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot - Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel will perform at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the village campus, 101 Schaumburg Court.

Maddie & Tae, whose songs include the hit single "Girl in a Country Song," will take the stage at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, before a 10 p.m. fireworks display.

Longtime Septemberfest favorite 7th heaven will return at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3.

While general admission to the all the main stage performances is free, Schaumburg is again offering VIP tickets for seating close to the stage for $10 per day or $25 for all three days.

Each day of the festival will feature two opening acts on the main stage.

The yet-to-be-named winner of the Daily Herald's Suburban Chicago's Got Talent competition will perform at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, followed by the high energy blues and rock of Jimmy Nick & Don't Tell Mama at 6:30 p.m.

Nashville Electric Company at 4:30 p.m. and Gone Country at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 will contribute to a full day of country music on the main stage.

The Ron Burgundy's will play "yacht rock" and soft rock of the '60s through '80s at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, followed by the classic-to-current rock songs performed by Infinity at 5:30 p.m.
