Diana Krall announces new tour stop at Genesee

Multiple Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall will stop in Waukegan as part of her world tour that has taken her to more than 100 cities in North America and Europe.

Krall will be at the Genesee Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 20. She is promoting her most recent album "Turn Up The Quiet," the last recording Krall made with her longtime mentor and collaborator, producer Tommy LiPuma, before his death last year. The album is dedicated to his memory.

Tickets, which range from $51.50 to $91.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15. Tickets will be available at the Genesee Theatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 982-2787. A CD or digital download of Krall's new album is included with every pair of paid tickets.
