Read the transcript, indeed

I agree with former Illinois state Sen. Chris Lauzen 100 percent when he says we should all read the transcript of Trump's phone call with President Zelensky of Ukraine. Most of the rest of his comments were attacks on the Democrats straight out of the Republican playbook.

Here's what I conclude: Trump asked Zelensky eight times to work with Rudy Giuliani to dig up dirt on his political opponents for the 2020 election. Later in the call, he specifically requested Zelensky to look into the existence of Hillary Clinton's email server in Ukraine and for dirt on Joe Biden and his son Hunter. What I see is our president asking a foreign government to interfere in our election process. Something he took advantage of in 2016 from the Russians. My conclusion is that Trump has betrayed his oath of office, and should be impeached; as should others with knowledge of this violation.

Each day new facts supporting the case against the president are revealed. Each day the president and his co-conspirators lie directly to the American people about what happened, asking us to believe black is white and up is down. Donald Trump should resign before he's impeached and save the country the ordeal. Then the courts can him accountable for his crimes, while America moves on.
