Be heard; be nice
OK, people. Let's just be NICE! My mother told me, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all."
Recently hatred has been given a voice in this country, both with words and actions. Our country has always voiced differences in beliefs and politics, but expressing these differences with hate and intolerance is just not acceptable.
Apologizing for mean spirited comments - no matter how many times or excuses given - sometimes just cannot be forgiven. These hate-filled events have now ruined careers and destroyed businesses.
So let's express our thinking and our beliefs in a way that will be heard, but not in a way that will further the destruction of the freedom of expression we now have.
