Elect candidates who will get money out of politics

"Follow the money." The slogan denotes corruption, malfeasance, criminality, bribery and cronyism. It is the root of all evil and what's wrong with our politics, our government, our republic and our democracy.

Follow the money and you will find that money, not people, is guiding decisions made by the plutocracy. The latest being the disturbing tactic of separating parents from their children in order to populate "detention centers" built by campaign contributors in a for-profit scandal bilking American taxpayers $775 per night for every person held in captivity for the crime of seeking refuge.

These refugees are seeking protection from savage governments created by the Reagan/CIA backing of the Contra regime that destabilized Central America, fostering poverty, oppression and rise of MS-13 that since the 1980s has terrorized Central America and even spread to the USA.

With 5-4 Supreme Court rulings since 1976, most recently the Citizens United decision, our conservative courts have literally legalized bribery, giving rise to a handful of the morbidly rich to control an entire political party, presidency, administration, courts and state houses.

Follow the money and see why public policy no longer benefits average families, and why our demands for universal health care, affordable education, protecting our planet, clean air, safe water and an equal and just society are drowned out by well-funded lobbyists.

Profit over people is their mantra and until we get the money out with a 28th Amendment that says corporations are not people and money is not speech, our demands will fall on deaf ears.

This November follow the money and see who is funding your candidate. Google which corporations and billionaires have funded Randy Hultgren and Peter Roskam. Then choose wisely. Voting for Lauren Underwood and Sean Casten will be votes for families, not corporate and billionaire's interests.
