Unquestioned integrity for DuPage sheriff

I've had a long career as the Elmhurst police chief, Illinois state representative and state senator. I have extensive experience in both the law enforcement and political realms.

Throughout my career, I've had to determine the right person for the right job, and I strongly believe that James Mendrick will be a great sheriff for DuPage County.

He is a loyal family man with unquestioned integrity. He has a very long list of credentials during his 22-year career. He's been in command of nearly every area in the Office. He has budget solutions that apply to this modern environment and is the candidate who can create a safer DuPage County through operational and fiscal responsibility.

What I truly respect is the simple fact that he's endorsed by all of the deputies within the sheriff's office. When I was the chief of the Elmhurst police department, one of my highest priorities was to maintain the support of the rank and file and this is what Mendrick brings to the table. Respect, unity and cooperation.

I believe that Mendrick will use the office of sheriff to unify our existing government which will give all of us improved public safety services while lowering taxes through creative and innovative budgeting solutions.

This is a very important vote during this election cycle. I ask all DuPage County residents to vote for James Mendrick for the Office of DuPage County Sheriff, so we can all enjoy a safer DuPage County.
