Loss of the unborn

A woman has been given the gift of life but refuses to open her present and aborts the child. The child remains forever an unopened present and his or her talents not given to the world to appreciate.

For those prevented from becoming who God intends them to be, we pray; for women dealing with guilt and remorse in the aftermath of an abortion, we pray. The U.S. death toll by abortion is almost 60 million babies, more than the total U.S. deaths in all the wars it has ever fought.

Women seeking help with their pregnancy should call TLC Pregnancy Services, Catholic Charities, CareNet Pregnancy Services or Waterleaf Women's Center. These are just a few of the agencies that are willing and able to help with an unplanned pregnancy. Abortion stops a beating heart.

The 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is coming up in January. Watch for the March for Life in Washington.
