The spirit of a community
My neighbors in the Country Walk subdivision and Facebook community of Round Lake Beach are pretty amazing.
One guy took it upon himself to go to Avon Township to see if they knew of any families who had need of help this Christmas.
He found that there was substantial need for both clothing and money for utilities. After talking with his family, he found that it was more than he and his family could do alone. So, he took to our neighborhood Facebook page to ask for help.
Within an hour, there were 70 replies and not only was every need met but also peo-ple were asking if there isn't anything more they can do to help.
Thank you, Country Walk, for demonstrating what the holiday season is truly about!
