Congressman will get his gift later

I drove to work this morning listening to an interview of our very own Congressman Peter Roskam as he touted the great benefits of the Trump "if you pass it now, and be patient for x amount of time, you'll come to understand how it might benefit you in some obscure way" tax bill. Shame on Mr. Roskam for not in any way acknowledging the negative impact this bill will have on his own constituents and in his home state.

You don't have to look to New York or California to find those that will be asked to pay more in taxes so corporations can increase their profits by trillions. I wonder how many of Roskam's constituents pay more than $10,000 total for state income and local property taxes.

We better start writing out checks to prepay as much of our property taxes as we can afford - Merry Christmas, Congressman Roskam. Your gift is going to be delayed.
