What we preach, practice

When Bill Clinton's was running to be the Democratic candidate for president, he had plenty of competition. Then a leading contender was exposed for inappropriate sexual behavior. He quickly dropped out of the race. A little later, Clinton's sexual life was exposed. It didn't stop old Bill, though. He went on to serve two terms as president. Some still sing his praises in spite of his disgusting sexual behavior that continued while he was in the White House. Fast forward to today. Donald Trump boasted about inappropriate sexual behavior on tape, but brushed it off as just lockerroom talk. Many allegations of sexual misconduct have been made about him. None have been proven or disproven. His crude comments about women are a matter of record, though. Yet he got elected. Perhaps it's time we practice what we preach.
