Flag flap just an excuse to bash Trump
The scandalous misuse of our flag and anthem by uninformed NFL players, coaches and owners is not only disheartening but un-American. Our flag and anthem represent the freedom that men and women fought so courageously for.
To insert racism as the reason for their actions is wrong and not valid. To blame President Trump for their actions is dishonest. Nowhere in the president's remarks was race mentioned.
The media has encouraged this issue because of its hatred of the president. The media cannot acknowledge that its opposition to the president is not shared by the majority of the American people. When will this Trump bashing end?
