Change in perspective?

I read the letter from a Mr. Larry O'Neill chastising the Daily Herald for pushing a gay agenda by citing two articles relating to gay people. Mr. O'Neill cites William Shakespeare as the clarion of traditional values of just man and woman as depicted in Romeo and Juliet. I wonder what he would say if he knew that Shakespeare was gay.
