Democracy in trouble
Anti-democratic forces in our nation have always been in the wings, but they have been held back by stronger forces. Since the election of Donald Trump, these forces have come out full force and are driving legislative and other public-policy decisions. We must fight back or we will lose our democracy. Donald Trump defers to leaders of Russia, Poland, The Philippines and other totalitarian nations. He snubs leaders of Germany and other democracies that have historically been close friends of the United States. This man is doing untold damage to our nation both internationally and at home. We must fight back. He must not be allowed to destroy in four years what it has taken over two centuries to build.
