Thanks for showing kindness to a stranger

I had a strange senior moment in the Dress Barn in Bloomingdale last week. As I walked in the store, I realized I had no idea how I got there and where I parked my car.

This has never happened to me in my life and panic waived over my body. A delightful visitor from San Antonio introduced herself as Joanie Wolf, visiting her daughter in Bloomingdale.

She needed her newly graduated granddaughter to have all of her wisdom teeth extracted to prepare for college.

Joanie was here to help. This very dear lady was a shopper, listening to my panic. She passed her choices to the sales lady and introduced herself and said, "Why, honey, I'll be happy to drive you to your car. We'll find it, you just come with me."

This lady was an absolute angel. As we drove the parking lot, I recalled my steps. She was an absolute stranger to me, but thought nothing of interrupting her time by helping me in distress.

I am so grateful for her selfless kindness and feel so blessed to have met her. We found my car and I realized I had enjoyed my relaxing shop so well, I forgot the current stresses of buying and selling a home. I am 63 years young.

She was a woman of substance and kindness that knew no bounds. Her daughter is blessed with such a mom, and her family is so lucky to have such a caring, take charge woman in their lives. Bless you Joanie, and thank you for your kindness.
