We'll be better off whatever probe finds
The Russian government must be in hysterics over the chaos in Washington and it's all because of Donald Trump. He will go to any length to stop any investigation into whatever role Russia may have played in our recent presidential election. The logical question is, what is the president afraid of? If he has nothing to hide why not let the investigation play out? If he was vindicated, it would greatly improve his standing here at home.
There have certainly been enough questions raised to warrant an investigation, and they won't and shouldn't just go away. No president should have the authority to stop an investigation. Squashing it is the way of a dictatorship, but it isn't the way of a democracy. A fair and honest investigation is in order. When that happens, no matter how it turns out, our country will be better because of it.
