Ugly left disrupted anti-Sharia rally

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Anti-Sharia rally in downtown Chicago. Let me make it clear that it was not an anti-Muslim rally. It was basically a coming together of good people who were speaking up for human rights, of all women's rights to speak freely, to not get beaten by their husbands, to not be forced to have her genitals mutilated, to not be "honor" killed for being "too Western," to not be stoned to death for being accused of adultery, etc.

Unfortunately, this rally also drew protesters who shouted us down with their bull horns and chants. Their numbers were greater than ours thanks to the Antifa thugs, the Obama/Soros-paid army and various other far-left individuals. As usual, they shouted insulting things like racist, homophobes, Islamophobes, xenophobes and many other names that I cannot put in print.

The last thing I would like to say is how much I appreciated the Chicago police at this rally. They were there in force and I mean IN FORCE. If not for them we would have been run over and probably many would have been injured. Our side was peaceful, throwing no threats or profanity that I heard, but the other side were ugly, nasty and scary. Thank you, CPD. I have a renewed respect for you and I will always wear my "Thank You Blue" pin from now on.
