Servers lose big if they're not tipped

There is definitely a double standard when it comes to tipping.

Positions that are supposed to be tipped are quite clear. Bartenders, food delivery and waiters waitresses or in our PC world, servers. All are considered tipped positions.

It is also a fact that the general public is aware of this, too. There are times that people don't tip these positions. Why is a mystery.

The trouble is, these positions aren't permitted to say anything if their customer doesn't tip or under tips. If they do, the customer will most likely call, complain to management about how rude this person was. In different degrees, managements response would range from reprimand to termination.

Each person in these positions relies on the tips as part as their pay, and the person who isn't tipping should be made aware of this. In most cases, the ones who benefit are the owners and the customers. The one position that loses out is that position.

In most cases, management doesn't care about the middle person so long as their customers are happy. Management should care, because without these positions, there would be no customers for them.
