Grateful for support of 2017 Candy Days

We would like to express our deep appreciation to all the caring citizens of Rolling Meadows and Arlington Heights who generously supported Misericordia's Candy Days on April 28 and 29!

Friday's weather started out quite nice, giving our thousands of volunteers the opportunity to fan out across Chicago and the suburbs to collect donations for Misericordia Home. Proceeds from Candy Days help to insure that the almost 600 children and adults with mental and/or physical disabilities who call Misericordia home will continue to receive services which enhance their lives and help them to reach their full potential.

We also wish to extend our thanks to our volunteers: Some who were new this year; some who have helped for years; those who have family members or friends at Misericordia; and those who have no connection to Misericordia but believe in its mission. Each of you is an important member of our team!

Next year when we don our "Jelly Belly" vests on the last Friday and Saturday of April, we hope that some of you will join us in collecting donations, and that the rest of you will generously support Misericordia once again!
