SLAS moves from St. Charles to Oak Brook

Oakbrook Terrace-based NAI Hiffman said that the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening has signed a new 2,713-square-foot lease at 1301 W. 22nd St. in Oak Brook.

Perry Higa, NAI Hiffman senior vice president, represented SLAS in the transaction. SLAS is a provider of a wide array of relevant education, information, innovation and access to the world's largest network of professionals focused on leveraging technology for scientific advancement.

Previously headquartered in Saint Charles, SLAS looked in both the O'Hare and East-West Corridor office submarkets for its new headquarters.

"SLAS relocated to Oak Brook due to its central location in metro Chicago, easy access to both airports, downtown Chicago and up-to-date office space options for their staff and the Association's members. In addition, the Oak Brook area provides a strong workforce for a global association like SLAS. I am excited about what the new location will do for this organization," Higa said.
